About L.D.E.E.P

Ongoing employment support by employment counsellors, facilitators, job coach and job developer and is tailored for successful career exploration and career decisions, integration into workplace, self-employment, and continuing education. Focused on identification of strengths to short-and-long term career goals, this service offers 6 weeks of interactive and content–rich workshops and 12 weeks of paid work experience with small and medium sizes businesses and large corporations from variety of industries.

Program Goals

  • Customized sessions for varied Learning Abilities
  • Career exploration and development
  • Identification of hard, soft, and transferable skills
  • Assisted Job Search and Marketing Tools(Resume, cover letter, portfolio, interview skills, networking, social media presence, etc.)
  • Support with work-force integration
  • 3 or 6 weeks of interactive and content-rich workshops
  • 12 weeks of paid work experience with small and medium sizes businesses and large corporations from variety of industries

Eligibility

  • Newcomers, Permanent Residents, Refugees, Citizens, Internationally-educated professionals, Trades people, all legally entitled to work
  • Out of work, Out of School and Underemployed
  • Individuals who are not eligible for employment insurance (EI) and not in receipt of EI
