Project Aware For Parents
Audrey Huberman is a Doctor of Education and has extensive academic and practical experience in the fields of education, child development, parenting and psychology. She specializes in teaching and counseling families, parents and individuals of all ages in the areas of social, emotional and behavioral skills.
This workshop series focuses on critical topics related to bullying/hate crimes and learning disabilities. It provides an active support network of other parents and professionals who understand the challenges of hate crimes and LDs. It provides the support and instructional strategies needed to develop effective parenting strategies to guide their LD youth at home, school and in the community.

Topics include:
- November 24, 2011- The emotional impact of learning disabilities
- December 22, 2011- Impact of hate crimes
- January 26, 2012- Strategies for preventing hate crimes
- February 23, 2012- Successful transitions
- March 8, 2012- Advocating for your child
- March 29, 2012- Supporting your LD youth
