About S.T.Y.L.E

The Learning Disabilities Association of Toronto in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism Culture and Sport is proud to announce that the STYLE program (Skills Training for Youth Through Learning and Education) is in our 11th year! STYLE is an after-school program that focuses on providing academic remediation in addition to improving awareness of nutrition, health and well-being for youth.

Program Goals

Local Programming

Students are supported in their academic subjects and given an opportunity to participate in arts and cultural activities.

Health and Nutrition

Making healthy food choices, menu planning and learning to prepare healthy snacks.

Physical Activity

Students engage in activities by exploring different types of recreational activities.

Personal Health and Wellness

LD-specific life skills coaching including, communication, problem-solving, time management, organizational skills and interpersonal relationships.

Eligibility
