About Youth H.I.R.E

This program invites youth between the ages of 15 and 30 to learn pre-employment and employment skills through paid curriculum training and onsite work placement. In addition, participants acquire free certifications, individualized training plans and guidance with building a skills portfolio which will aid in positive employment outcomes. We welcome a diverse group of youth with varying abilities, experiences, education, interests, and skills.

Eligibility

Between the ages of 15-30.
A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee protection status.
Looking for employment.
Legally entitled to work in Canada, according to Ontario legislations and regulations.
Able to commit 30 hours per week for 6 weeks of curriculum and 30 hours for 12 weeks of work placement.
